Launched by Tasmanian Governor Kate Warner on the eve of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day 2016, the cotinuing #RethinkAgeing program is a suite of projects aimed at tackling ageism and the stereotypes surrounding older people.
The Love Stories project involves younger people describing an older person they love by writing on a postcard.
The My Ageing project is a set of three postcards that ask adults to identify one of the things they value about being older.
The other component is a portfolio of specially commissioned images of active older Tasmanians, shot by professional photographer Peter Mathew.
