COTA (Tas) has been active in support to the Elder Abuse Prevention Strategy Alliance – Tascoss, Aged Care Services Tas and Advocacy Tas in successfully lobbying the State Government in the development of an ‘Elder Abuse Prevention Strategy’.

Tasmania now joins all other Australian States in fighting to prevent the physical, emotional and financial abuse of older Australians.
