COTA Tasmania and Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service have partnered to get older Tasmanians out enjoying our national parks and reserves with their families and friends this summer.
It’s time to Rethink Parks – who is using our national parks, reserves and heritage sites, and what they are using them for.
Tasmania’s national parks are for everyone – not just the fit or young. Many of our park tracks and sites are wheelchair friendly, and can be used for anything from a family picnic or leisurely stroll, to a week-long camping trip or climbing a mountain. Age or mobility are no barriers to getting outdoors!
