Join us for the official launch of Seniors Week 2020 on Thursday 1 October – the annual International Day of Older Persons.
This year, for the first time in the 22-year history of Seniors Week, we’re not having a face-to-face launch event. Like over 30 Seniors Week event organisers this year, we’re going online for a virtual get-together. This way we know we can deliver a COVID-safe launch for you.
Our Zoom (Choose Zoom Client for Meetings) webinar is free and open to anyone to join as a viewer – but you must register so that you will automatically receive the link giving you instructions about participating on the day.

In keeping with COTA Tasmania’s 2020 theme to tackle ageism in our society using the tagline “Who we are. What we do.”, the launch webinar will feature interviews with several older Tasmanians living in and contributing to their communities in our beautiful State.
There will also be a chat and some tunes from popular local vocal trio, Croon, to round out this landmark online launch celebration. Unfortunately, we can’t offer you a cuppa and biscuit this year, but feel free to grab your own brew when you join us.
