nbn Co. has online one-on-one or group sessions available with nbn representatives to find out about avoiding and reporting scams, the role of nbn vs your phone/internet provider, enhancing nbn at home, information about nbn programs, and the nbn roll-out.

Drop-In Monday Night Improv

Stay sharp, stay creative, stay collaborative and brush up on your improv skills. Scenes, characters, relationships and stories are explores within the confines of the virtual world. Teachers guide you through the quirks of improvising online and coach you into better scene work.

The Wellbeing Toolkit - Short Courses

The University of Tasmania is providing short courses to support a more confident and resilient community, and help Tasmanians face the challenges of COVID-19. Four modules can be chosen, which can include family history, healthy eating, mindfulness, financial planning and the environment.

Inala Jurassic Garden & Nature Museum

Inala’s Jurassic Garden gives an insight into the heady times when Australia was part of the supercontinent Gondwana 185 million years ago. While people can't visit Inala during COVID-19, they can continue to learn about the garden, its ancient plants, and its wildlife through short videos on Facebook and YouTube.

Burnie Concert Band

The Burnie Concert Band senior band, adult learners band, junior band and junior learners band continue to practice music during COVID-19. Pieces are recorded and emailed to players by the Musical Director, with players able to reply with their own recordings. Membership is also available.
