Island of Ideas Public Lecture Series

Island life may be on hold, but the ideas don't stop flowing. And, if anything, this challenging period is encouraging us to come up more ideas – about work, education, interaction and meeting our basic needs. The ISLAND project is hoping to reduce dementia in Tasmania. People aged over 50 years can sign up to be part of the ISLAND project and study the online Preventing Dementia MOOC to address their own risk profile and share with family, friends and community.

The Wellbeing Toolkit - Short Courses

The University of Tasmania is providing short courses to support a more confident and resilient community, and help Tasmanians face the challenges of COVID-19. Four modules can be chosen, which can include family history, healthy eating, mindfulness, financial planning and the environment.
