The Hobart Blues Club

The Hobart Blues Club encourages and promotes blues players at all levels and all ages, and all forms of blues and roots music. They encourage all aspiring performers to get up and jam in their jam session. If you want to jam, let the jam organiser know in advance.

Drop-In Monday Night Improv

Stay sharp, stay creative, stay collaborative and brush up on your improv skills. Scenes, characters, relationships and stories are explores within the confines of the virtual world. Teachers guide you through the quirks of improvising online and coach you into better scene work.

Rokeby Neighbourhood Centre Live Streaming

The Rokeby Neighbourhood Centre regularly live streams interesting tutorials through its Facebook page. This includes cooking, crafts and scrapbooking, and digital skills.

Sylvia's Kitchen

Sylvia's Kitchen regularly posts recipes that use few ingredients, are inexpensive, nutritious and delicious (some links on page). The website includes a wide range of articles about cooking, gardening and health, and you can sign up for regular e-newsletters. Contact Sylvia if you have questions or want advice about cooking.

Burnie Concert Band

The Burnie Concert Band senior band, adult learners band, junior band and junior learners band continue to practice music during COVID-19. Pieces are recorded and emailed to players by the Musical Director, with players able to reply with their own recordings. Membership is also available.
