Model Railway Group

Located at the Sheffield Steam & Heritage Centre, the model railway club is open every Thursday and Sunday for people interested.

"Toss it? No Way!" The global Repair Cafe movement has made it to Hobart! Repair Cafes are all about repairing things together and having a chance to make new connections. Bring your broken items from home so we can help you work out how to fix them, lend a hand with someone else's repair job, or just come along for a cuppa and a chat.

Wooden Boat Centre

For the past 25 years, the Wooden Boat Centre Tasmania has been producing a range of beautiful timber boats, crafted by hand on the banks of the Huon River. The Centre welcomes locals and visitors, individuals and groups to join one of their short courses or a guided tour.

Launceston Philatelic Society

The Launceston Philatelic Society is made of people who have a common interest in stamp collecting and want to share their passion. The group holds two meetings a month followed by a philatelic sale and members' display or feature, and a Market Day is held every six months.

Tasmanian Philatelic Society

The Tasmanian Philatelic Society caters to collectors of stamps, postcards, postal history postmarks and related material. The Society hosts monthly meetings with guest speakers, access to a large philatelic library, online discussion forum and opportunities to buy and sell philatelic items.

Wynyard Camera Club

The Wynyard Camera Club caters for people interested in digital and print photography who would like to meet with other photographers and improve their photography skills. The club has regular club and inter-club competitions, guest speakers, photographic activities and outings.
