Break O'Day Regional Arts BODRA

BODRA aims to bring exciting & inspiring arts and culture to St Marys, Fingal, St Helens and surrounding towns. BODRA host creative arts workshops, promote creative writing opportunities, and host regular markets.

TasWriters Workshops

TasWriters are hosting online writing workshops. These workshops provide writers with an income stream and can boost your creative writing skills. Workshops are open to members and non-members.

Eastern Shore Writers' Group

The Eastern Shore Writers’ Group usually meet for shared readings with the opportunity for positive feedback, supper, discussion, including news, opportunities and often a discussion topic. While the group is meeting face-to-face again, they continue to meet online via Zoom during COVID-19. Writing (max 800 words) must be submitted for circulation a week before each meeting.

Model Railway Group

Located at the Sheffield Steam & Heritage Centre, the model railway club is open every Thursday and Sunday for people interested.

Hobart Repair Cafe

"Toss it? No Way!" The global Repair Cafe movement has made it to Hobart! Repair Cafes are all about repairing things together and having a chance to make new connections. Bring your broken items from home so we can help you work out how to fix them, lend a hand with someone else's repair job, or just come along for a cuppa and a chat.

Writers Group

Come along and join Laya and Lara for discussion, critique, writing exercises and free writing time. Writers of all abilities, genres, and stages welcome.
