The Happy Hookers meet Monday mornings to make latchet hook rugs and woollen textiles.

Originally a quilting group, the Girls Chatter Group now includes knitting, crocheting, embroidery and other handcrafts. Bring your own project to do. Lots of friendly chatter, sharing patterns and techniques. Beginners welcome.

Geeveston Spinners, Weavers & Knitters meet to share fun, fibre and laughter in the Tapas Bar, often having lunch together afterwards.

The Embroiderer's Guild of Tasmania Launceston encourages the co-operation and interchange of ideas among those engaged in or interested in embroidery and related crafts through informal weekly meetings. The Guild also host regular workshops, classes and a Juniors Group program.

The Embroiderer's Guild Devonport meets Tuesday's in the Quoiba Room, Level 1, Paranaple Centre, Rooke Street from 10am to 12pm, and Thursday's in the Devonport Community and Health Centre, 23 Steele Street from 7pm to 9pm.
