The East Coast Heritage Museum includes the Glamorgan Spring Bay Historical Society, Visitor Information Centre and War Memorial. The Museum collects, exhibits and preserves artefacts from the Glamorgan Spring Bay Municipality for the community, visitors and for future generations.
The Historical Information Centre is open to the public on the last Saturday of each month from 2 - 4pm, or each Thursday from 2 - 4pm. The centre has the facilities to conduct historical searches including searching burial records and provide clients with written reports.
The Mersey Branch of Tasmanian Family History Society support people to research genealogy and family history with a wide range of resources. The groups host regular events and projects, including excursions to places of interest.
The Burnie Branch of Tasmanian Family History Society is one of five branches of the Society. We are a non-profit organisation to help people research their family history.
Membership at the Launceston Branch of the Tasmanian Family History Society is for people interested in tracing their genealogy and family history. Members receive the Society's quarterly journal 'Tasmanian Ancestry' and have free access to the Society's Branch Libraries.
