The Bothwell Swimming Pool is an open air 20 x 7 metre pool and is open through summer. It is patrolled by qualified life guards and refreshments are available. Contact pool to confirm opening times.

The 24 Carrot Garden Project is a school kitchen garden aligned with the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation program that brings fun, learning activities together in the creative arts, culinary arts, science and sustainability. 24 Carrot's are always looking for volunteers to offer time to support students' learning.

The Wynyard Garden Club is a community organisation for people who enjoy gardens, gardening and fellowship with others who wish to learn more sharing knowledge and skills.

People of all ages are welcome to become members of the Wynyard Community Garden or just to drop by and see what’s happening.

Wildcare Tasmania is a powerhouse team of volunteers and donors supporting the care and conservation of Tasmania's wild place, wildlife and cultural heritage. Wildcare has over 6,000 members and 60 volunteer groups located all around the state. We offer inspiring opportunities in beautiful places, working in close partnership with government agencies who have responsibility for managing our environment as well as with local government and private landowners.

Westbury Garden Club provides a social setting at its regular meetings for like minded people to mix, meet new members and share their gardening experiences. We aim to improve our gardening knowledge through Guest Speakers, garden visits and sharing knowledge within the Club. We meet on the third Monday of the month, apart from June, July and December.The Club holds two Flower Shows each year, the Summer Show in February and the Spring Show in September. The Shows offer Members, Exhibitors and the general public the opportunity to showcase their flowers, floral art, photography and fruit and vegetables.
