If you've ever wanted to experience the joy of singing in harmony with others, now's your opportunity. Catering for beginners through to experienced singers.
Sisongke is a joyous dynamic, 'a capella' community choir that is open to everyone, regardless of singing ability. The name "Sisongke" means "together" in Zulu, which reflects our origins as an "African" choir, 25 years ago, but the group now sings all sorts of World Music.
“Recycled Musos” is about music making recreationally, having fun, lifting the spirits, health and vitality. Anyone can join, but the group is mostly for people aged over 40 who enjoy playing classic rock. Bring your instrument or voice and a few copies of an easy to read lyrics and chord chart (max. 2 pages) to share with others.
All are encouraged, no particular skill at singing is required, just an enthusiasm for singing and union history and solidarity (much needed in these times). Come along and have fun warming up those vocal chords.
