East Coast - Physical Activities

The Binalong Bay Ratepayers' & Tennis Association now has tennis racquets  available. They can also supply balls - just ask. The court is open every day of the year from dawn until dusk. Anyone may hire the court for $5 per hour and visitors are most welcome. 

Tennis Tasmania is the governing body of tennis in Tasmania. They promote and facilitate participation in tennis at all levels and ages, and conduct state, national and international tournaments. Tennis Tasmania supports over 50 Clubs throughout Tasmania.

The St Helens Croquet Club welcomes visitors and hosts social games, competitions, Come and Try sessions and events. Limited coaching is available. Players should bring a flask of hot water and a mugs for morning tea on game days – tea, coffee, milk and biscuits are provided.

Cricket Tasmania has seniors teams for men and women of all abilities located across Tasmania. There are also opportunities to coach and umpire cricket.

Bowls Tasmania is the administrative body of the sport of bowls in Tasmania. Contact them to find a bowls club near you.

The St Helens Bowls Club is the oldest Bowls Club on the East Coast and host social bowls and competitions with an all-weather synthetic green. Contact the Club to get involved.
