City of Hobart Bushcare

The City of Hobart Bushcare Program provides an opportunity for the community to work with the Council to help enhance wildlife habitat, protect threatened flora, build and maintain tracks, and help make Hobart's bushland areas a better place. It's also a great opportunity to meet other like minded people, have a laugh, and learn a few new skills.

Inala Jurassic Garden & Nature Museum

Inala’s Jurassic Garden gives an insight into the heady times when Australia was part of the supercontinent Gondwana 185 million years ago. While people can't visit Inala during COVID-19, they can continue to learn about the garden, its ancient plants, and its wildlife through short videos on Facebook and YouTube.

Heemskirk Community Garden

The Heemskirk Garden is a Community Project of Warrane Mornington Neighbourhood Centre. If you would like to find out more, have spare seedlings, seeds or cuttings, have ideas for the garden you would like to share or help out at the garden they would love to hear from you.
