Bicycle Network Ambassador Routes

Bicycle Network's Ambassador Routes are self-guided rides where you pick which ride you want to do and download the map and cue sheet. The website has photos of what you can expect along the ride, as well as some of the sites you may be able to stop at along the way. There are rides covering most areas of Tasmania, take a look and see which one is close to you.

All Aerobics offers a range of exercise and strength classes including spin classes, yoga, HIIT, pilates, and strength online through Facebook Live and their website.

Sole Mates

Sole Mates is a Tasmanian group for anyone and everyone to make training or general running that bit more enjoyable. An online place where you can find running buddies and advice any given day. It's all about having fun and doing your best with no pressure or commitment. Members also receive benefits and discounts at Tasmanian businesses.

Tai Chi and Qigong Lessons

Access Tai Chi and Qigong lessons online (YouTube) for free. The Shibashi video is the best one to start with if you haven't done tai chi before. Feel free to contribute to costs through PayPal.

Up and About

Up and About is an exercise program offered free to those with a lived experience of mental illness. The program is sponsored by Sports Australia and gives people an opportunity to be involved in exercise physiology groups, have access to health coaching, gyms, and loan of a Fitbit to increase motivation.

Parkrun - Whitemark Wharf

Whitemark Wharf Parkrun is a 5km run every Saturday at 9am. Runners need to register on the website to participate. All abilities and paces are welcome, and the group have coffee after the run if you would like to join them.
