Sisongke is a joyous, dynamic, ‘a capella’ community choir that is open to everyone, regardless of singing ability.The name “Sisongke” means “together” in Zulu, and the group now sings all sorts of World Music. The Launceston Ladies Choir is a group of ladie who sing for pleasure and rehearse weekly. They perform concerts at nursing homes around Launceston throughout the year and have an annual concert.
The Tassie Drum Circle promotes fun, friendship and therapeutic drumming. No experience is required and all ages and backgrounds are welcome. The group mostly meets in the Cataract Gorge, but make sure to check venue as it can be in City Park or other venues by arrangement.
