Inala’s Jurassic Garden gives an insight into the heady times when Australia was part of the supercontinent Gondwana 185 million years ago. While people can't visit Inala during COVID-19, they can continue to learn about the garden, its ancient plants, and its wildlife through short videos on Facebook and YouTube.
The Wynyard Garden Club is a community organisation for people who enjoy gardens, gardening and fellowship with others who wish to learn more sharing knowledge and skills.
Wildcare Tasmania is a powerhouse team of volunteers and donors supporting the care and conservation of Tasmania's wild place, wildlife and cultural heritage. Wildcare has over 6,000 members and 60 volunteer groups located all around the state.
We offer inspiring opportunities in beautiful places, working in close partnership with government agencies who have responsibility for managing our environment as well as with local government and private landowners.
Westbury Garden Club provides a social setting at its regular meetings for like minded people to mix, meet new members and share their gardening experiences. We aim to improve our gardening knowledge through Guest Speakers, garden visits and sharing knowledge within the Club. We meet on the third Monday of the month, apart from June, July and December.The Club holds two Flower Shows each year, the Summer Show in February and the Spring Show in September. The Shows offer Members, Exhibitors and the general public the opportunity to showcase their flowers, floral art, photography and fruit and vegetables.
