Sisongke is a joyous, dynamic, ‘a capella’ community choir that is open to everyone, regardless of singing ability.The name “Sisongke” means “together” in Zulu, and the group now sings all sorts of World Music. The Cygnet Singers' repertoire includes songs and carols, different languages, and from 16th century through to present day. Their program draws from church music, art song, folk song and musical theatre, with regular public performances and pub meals together. The friendly, sociable group welcomes new members.
