COVID-19 Vaccination Program – Additional Support Clinics

The Tasmanian Government, in partnership with Aspen Medical Group, will be running COVID-19 vaccination clinics for people who may require additional support through the vaccination process.

The clinics are for people living with disability and/or mental illness, their carers, disability support workers, and people who may have anxiety about medical procedures. The clinics will be set up to allow more time and support to be given during the vaccination process including easy read resources, additional space and longer appointment times.

The clinics will be open from Tuesday 6 July until Friday 16 July. With Friday 16 July a dedicated ‘quiet clinic’. The clinic will also be in place to deliver dose 2 of the vaccine, which is given 3 weeks later.

The clinics will be located at:

  • South – Blundstone Arena, Derwent Street, Bellerive.
  • North – Vinnies Building, 330-336 Invermay Road, Mowbray.

Quiet Clinic – 16 July

The Quiet Clinic will be slower paced and will have the capacity to make adjustments for people who need a lower sensory experience. If people would like an appointment at the Quiet Clinic they should call the Public Health Hotline on 1800 671 738 and ask for an appointment in this clinic.

How to book

To book in the Additional Support Clinics call the Public Health Hotline on 1800 671 738. Please let the operator know that you want to book into an Additional Support Clinic / Quiet Day clinic.
