Vaccine rollout on track to begin 22 February

Australia remains on track to begin rolling out the COVID-19 Vaccination Program from 22 February.

Check out this presentation that outlines the initial towns, suburbs, hubs and groups to receive vaccinations in Phase 1a.

More information now available on priority groups 

Phase 1a of the vaccine rollout will begin next week.

Details are available about the groups in this phase, including quarantine and boarder workers, frontline healthcare workers, and aged and disability care residents and staff.

How vaccines will be distributed

The rollout will begin with 16 hospitals and over 190 aged care facilities.

As the roll out continues more locations across the country will be available

Vaccine aged care readiness toolkit

Aged care residents and workers will be among the first people in Australia to be offered a COVID-19 vaccine.

Information is now available to assist residential aged care providers prepare and plan for the rollout.
