Over 1,500 community members had their say as part of our H.E.A.R Active Ageing Consultation and this lived experience will shape the development of a new six-year Active Ageing strategy for Tasmania 2023-2029.

COTA Tasmania and Mental Health Families and Friends Tasmania have collaborated to raise awareness of the role that senior Tasmanians play supporting a family member or friends mental wellbeing. Â
COTA Tasmania conducted an 'Attitudes to Ageing Survey' in the latter half of 2020. The survey was designed to increase our understanding of what Tasmanians of different ages think about ageing, and included an online survey as well as a postcard style questionnaire.
