Registrations for 2024 are open.

The theme for this year will be Connecting Generations. After our big 25th celebration year in 2023 we look forward to involving a broader mix of ages and groups this October, with a special launch to be held at Government House hosted by our Patron, Her Excellency the Honourable Barbara Baker AC.

This year we’re aiming to have 400 events happening around the state with something in each of the 29 council areas.

Our much-valued Seniors Week Guide will be distributed early September and available at all Libraries, Post Office and Services Tasmania outlets as well as a variety of community organisations and shops.

There are a few things we need to check with you.
I am an authorised representative of the named Organisation. I declare that the information given on this Registration Form is true and correct. I agree that the activities carried out by the Organisation must be carried out in accordance with all applicable laws, including COVID-19 public safety regulations. I confirm that the Organisation has obtained appropriate insurance to cover the risks arising out of the Organisation’s activities. I agree that COTA Tasmania (Council on the Ageing) Incorporated and their employees, agents and contractors, will not be responsible for any loss or damage (including but not limited to a negligent act or omission) the Organisation suffers as a result of the Organisation’s inclusion in the Seniors Week Events Guide. I agree that the Organisation will indemnify COTA Tasmania (Council on the Ageing) Incorporated and its employees, agents and contractors against any loss, damage or legal liability whatsoever in respect of any damage to property or finances suffered by any third party arising from the Organisation’s inclusion in the Seniors Week Events Guide. I agree that the Organisation must not represent to any third party that inclusion in the Seniors Week Events Guide and/or the use of the Logo by the Organisation represents any form of endorsement and/or support of the Organisation’s products or services by COTA Tasmania (Council on the Ageing) Incorporated. I agree that the decision of COTA Tasmania (Council on the Ageing) Incorporated regarding Events Guide Entry is final and no subsequent correspondence will be entered into. *
